Towards a Compassionate Community: Call for Grief Literacy in Hong Kong

Towards a Compassionate Community: Call for Grief Literacy in Hong Kong

I had the honor of delivering the keynote at the JCBeCare and Support Alliance Symposium on the theme, “Towards a Compassionate Community: Call for Grief Literacy in Hong Kong.” My talk was titled Speaking Grief: Enhancing Grief Literacy Through Conversations About Loss.

It was an inspiring and moving event and it has been fascinating learning about the JCBeCare team’s work and research in this area.

The Jockey Club Bereavement Care and Support Alliance is part of the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at the University of Hong Kong. I had a lovely celebratory dinner with some of the team members to commemorate this first annual symposium.

Kelsey is an avid mountain biker (she guides and coaches in the summer, skier, and freelance portrait photographer.
