It was an honor to sit on a panel at Comic-Con International San Diego alongside Jill A. Harrington, DSW, LCSW, Tashel Bordere, PhD, CT, Heather Stang, David Carey, and Brendan Sprout to share the healing work of Superhero Grief.
Had a fun day filming at New Life Community Church in Carlisle. Their Life Cycle program will be featured in the upcoming season of WPSU’s Keystone Stories; it’s a volunteer-led effort that provides individuals and families in need with transportation.

Today was one of those amazing days when I was reminded of what I love about producing and why I choose to work in public media. We got to film with Horses of Hope, a non-profit that offers therapeutic riding experiences for people with special needs and veterans. It will be part of the upcoming season of WPSU’s Keystone Stories.
Talking about mental health and suicide is hard, but it’s critically important—it can even be lifesaving.
